SPOHNC (Support for People with Oral and Head and Neck Cancer) is a patient-to-patient support group meeting monthly at the Institutefor Head and Neck and Thyroid Cancer at Beth Israel Medical Center. THANC is pleased to sponsor a Manhattan chapter of this national organization, which meets every fourth Tuesday in the Institute's conference room at 10 Union Square East, Suite 5-B, New York, NY,10003.
Previous meetings have included guest speakers, patient open round table discussions, and information about topics such as pain management, medical insurance questions, and post-operative products.
