On May 31st Anthony Miller will run in the Rock and Roll Marathon in San Diego to raise awareness and money for Thyroid Cancer.

The Fairmount Country Club Holiday Luncheon
"Tremendously successful" is the way Carmela Sagendorf (above, center), chair of Fairmount's 2008 charity luncheon, described the event which was held on December 10th for the benefit of the THANC (Thyroid, Head and Neck Cancer) Foundation. She chose the recipient charity in honor of her late husband Ed. The event attracted 250 guests while raising almost $40,000 for the Foundation.

The THANC Foundation Chicago Invitational Golf Tournament took place on October 6, 2008. It was hosted by the Dawson and Walgreen Families. Proceeds will benefit the THANC Foundation and the Little Heroes Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation.
